I linked directly to the menu. The corned beef sandwiches caught my eye. What’s a bridie? Apparently, it’s a lot like a pasty. Many country’s workers traditionally had a hot-pocket-like food. There was every thing empanadas and Jamaican beef patties to pasties and bridies. And each hot pocket tells a story whether it’s pasties imported by Cornish miners to Michigan and Mexico or bieroks/runzas imported by Germans to Kansas and Argentina.
