So, Whole Foods has Tsar Nicoulai California Estate Caviar on sale for $12. It’s normally $70. Several other varieties of fish roe, like that pictured, are also deeply discounted.
Also, Market Avenue Wine Bar has started hosting monthy wine dinners. The food is prepared by Chef Ben Bebenroth, previously sous chef at Parker’s and currently owner of Spice of Life Catering (a subsidiary of Marigold Catering). Or so I hear… Chef’s website has no mention of it.
I was impressed to see that Apollo’s Fire appeared at the Market Avenue Wine Bar. Less impressed when I noticed that this happened on November, 20, and the website hasn’t been updated since then. Clearly, it’s too much to expect that information about these dinners is up on their website.
